Clean old Nike tennis shoes are recyclable for reuse in tennis courts, basketball courts and playgrounds.  Most any brand name tennis shoe is recyclable for reuse.  Football and golf shoes are not recyclable.   Just tennis shoes with rubber soles.   Keeps them out of landfills.
